I am a Postdoctoral Research Scholar in the Department of Electrical Engineering at Stanford University, where I work with Andrea Montanari. I was a Research Fellow at the Simons Institute for the Theory of Computing for the program Foundations of Data Science held in Fall 2018. I received my Ph.D. in Computer and Communication Sciences at the École Polytechnique Fédérale de Lausanne (EPFL), Switzerland, under the supervision of Prof. Rüdiger Urbanke.
My current research interests include data science and machine learning, as well as wireless communication systems, network information theory and modern coding theory, with particular emphasis on polar codes.
Exciting news! In September 2019, I will start as Assistant Professor at the Institute of Science and Technology Austria (IST Austria).
